Just had a set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 + dropped at my door, just in time to be put on the daily wheels prior to the Oppomeet 2018 at Tail of the Dragon in 2 weeks! Woo hoo! (YOU should come join the meet.)

Now to have a fellow autocross enthusiast install them at his day job. Looking forward to better grip than the OEM Bridgestone Potenza RE97 AS tires. Kept the same width to help with fuel economy.

Both of my cars only have 200TW summer tires. Forget fuel economy and tire life because racing is life lol. Its really frigging hard to explain to normal people why I cant take my Subaru to the ski mountain in the winter. Coworkers are like whyyyy you have AWD, thats exactly what it is for! In Socal, its perpetual summer so anything other than summer tires is asinine. I do need some snow tires though so that I can avoid renting a car and having to use chains ever again.

I have one car, three sets of wheels and tires (and usually at least one spare set of tires), and I live in Texas so none of the sets are winter tires (daily, autox, and track sets).

I put too many miles on my car to run race tires, and we do get winter in North Carolina. But you do you!

I once had 4 sets of wheels for my Miata all at once in my apartment. My girlfriend was SUPER unhappy about all of the added “furniture” until I sold two of the sets.

Im going to regret that decision when both cars need tires at the same time again lol. I thought having two cars would help “spread out” the expenses but generally it just doubles everything since I drive them both a lot.

My TL has a pair of those on the back. They look to be in very good shape. The fronts are less impressive...Hankook Optimo H426s, though that’s not bad for CarMax. Certainly a step above the literal no-name tires they put on my old TSX.

Umm, AWD cars shouldn’t have mismatched tires, IIRC.

Gives me a reason to get a full set of the Michelins then :P (they are the same size,  but it wouldn’t surprise me)
